School Starts!

This school year started with a bang. Maddie had her first day of kindergarten. She loves it. Her teacher is lovey and nurturing enough for Maddie and tough enough to get things done. A perfect combination for a K5 teacher. We went to meet the teacher the day before and on the day of we all drove her to school. John walked Maddie in. Once she found her seat and desk that was filled with her things she told John he could leave. Never in her 6 years would I have believed she would turn out so brave and outgoing. Full time kindergarten has been an adjustment. The nonstop schedule is wearing her out. She passed out in the car for the first time in about a year one afternoon. Went into labor on her second day of school. She was traumatized that she had school while I was in the hospital. Aunt Heather was a life saver. She managed to pacify her until the next morning when John brought them up to the hospital.

Anna started school the next Monday. She is in the purple room with Mrs. Melissa and Mrs.Leslie. They are 2 of our most favorite teachers. Maddie was in their room when she was 3 and she still loves them. Taking Anna to school was easy. She walked right into her room and started playing with the toys before she took off her backpack. I don't even think she noticed we were there or that we left. She is our reluctant poser. She will not participate in the picture taking so these are all we got. I am so glad they both love their teachers and their schools. All are answers to prayer!
