There are of many of Maddie's first words that we loved to hear. The baby interpretation of the english language is so much fun to hear. Part of the fascination, I feel, is the relief that you are finally able to communicate with the little creature that has done nothing but cry and grunt and point to tell you what they want. Actual words are a huge relief. So when it came to Anna and her new words we tried to record as many of them as we could because it is another one of the short lived phases of babyhood. They learn a few words and then their vocabulary grows exponentially overnight, seemingly, and they are all of a sudden talking like little people.
Our most recent camera is a life saver in this area. It takes pictures and video. This is the only reason so many of the girls milestones over the last year and a half have ended up on tape.
