We have been to lots of birthday parties lately. This one was for Tara's daughter, Madison. This was Maddie's first experience on skates. She seemed to like it. Having John help hold her up enabled her to go much faster. I think feeling sure footed was something she took for granted. When she put the skates on and felt like she could fall any minute she was done. I think it will take some practice. Once she figures out that she can go really fast all by herself, she will be off.
