Stomach Flu! Yuck!

This is how we basically spent 2 weeks. The girls didn't want to sit with me on the couch they had to be on me on the couch. We would have a few good days and then, back to the couch. This picture was taken the Friday before Anna's birthday party. She had been sick for 2 and a half weeks by this point, diarrhea. That morning Anna had just gotten up. She had the river of poop that filled her blanket sleeper. I was washing her off in the kitchen sink, again, when Maddie walks into the kitchen and proceeds to throw up soy milk all over the floor.  This was definately the low point. We just kept saying this is why we don't have carpet. Tile and wood floors are fantastic during this type of illness.  Luckily Maddie was only puny for about 24 hours. Anna was fine a few days after that. We did manage to all live through it and give Anna a birthday party the next day!
