We went to our annual neighborhood picnic. They had it on the playground at lunch time. Luckily the weather was wonderful and there were a few other kids there they could play with. We knew for sure we would be the youngest home owners there, and the ones with the youngest kids, but we were wrong. The other young families just live on other blocks. Maddie loves "swinging" on the bar. I told her she looked like a bird on a perch and of course then she decided she needed to sing.
Anna spent nearly the whole time in the baby swing. Maddie was insanely jealous and begged to get in it but Anna would not be taken from the swing. I think she likes being high off the ground so she can look around. That swing is kind of like a hammock. I think if it had been quiet she would have been asleep!
